Ms Sun Ho

      If you guys know me well, i will give every singer a chance to showcase their vocal to me... No matter how anti i am to the singer... lol... Today, i listened to two songs by one of the singer i hate... or should say disliked... Sun Ho - Ho Yeow Sun... This two songs was pretty nice and soothing... her vocal wise... still ok... listenable... you guys may be interested in listening to them... Her latest album titled track, Yong Bao (Hugging) & Chun Tian De Wei Xiao (Smile of Spring)... Trust me, i am a music critic ok... haha..

      Finally get my pay, what i deserved for the hard work i put in last month... the long hours... and everything... going for a 4 day rest next... after tonight shift... so its time for me to relax awhile... Can't wait to see Mr Bean's movie next MON... oh yeah...

      UniSIM's website put that they will reply by late May... so maybe i shall just wait.. since i couldn't do anything whether i am accepted or not... so... wait then... Just hope that things go smoothly...

      Wasn't feeling that well today, after chatting with jack & yongda about my studies... i feel more insecure le... what happen was like this... jack & i apply UniSIM at the same time.. but end up he received the acceptance letter le.. and me? none... begin to panic... A-da encourage me to give UniSIM a call.. but i guess i shall wait for a few days before making a move... or should i just call?

      Not sure if its the work... the lack of sleep or the gym... or due to the virus i fought... i wasn't feeling well these days even though its my off days... hence get a little mood swing... don't worry just a little grumble here & there... but everything was still under control... Thanks to all who had spent their time chatting with me... Thanks Jin, Da, Jack, Dingze, Mun Mun... Especially Dingze for all those games and cheering me up... ok should say teasing me? & Jack for the gift & movie...

      Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle indeed bring us back some fond memories as a kid... still remember i had 1 figurine (forget which one) & my cousin is Red Turtle (Raphael)... my favorite is still Leonardo... whom was the leader in this movie... Enjoy alot...

      As for FIFA'07, i was on a losing streak... but glad to break the duck tonight beating dingze... Ukraine s**ks... US power... and you know who won... haha... But sadly, that's the only win by me.. but i am sure more to come... HiiiyaaKKK~! FM'07 was completed yet face some problem... now looking into it le... hopefully can solve... wah... its 1.40 am... time for bed... Good nitez~!

nothing special

      Live become more or less a routine for me... wake up... go work... online.... if no one chat with me? i'll indulge myself in FM2007... but soon must go train FIFA'07... haha... Have to stop Dz from the winning streak... FYI, i only won in the early days once or twice... then never ever win again... so angry.... hmph! haha... But what to do, he is good.. i just have to work hard... but i got improvement ok...? hehe...

      March seems to be a movie month... TMNT, Mr Bean, Music & Lyrics, Stomp The Yard and many more... haha... Hopefully all turns out to be better than 300... erm.. i'm sure it will... but why is 300 still box office #1 in US & SG? hmmm or issit i don't understand this kind of movie? hmm... alright then... what to do... Oh ya... if anyone interested... i think Singapore Soccer have a movie coming out... lol... titled... The Kallang Wave...

      Nothing significant that i did this few days... apart from visiting gym once a week (during my off day)... i edited Xiao Mei's blog... html clash here & there, but all fixed... my pc face some minor problem.. but at the moment still surviving... what else... hmmm...

      After watching Miracles, the 9pm Ch 8 show featuring Fann... i feel more for the kids now... & treasure what you have... you never know what will happen next... With many good friend's family facing death... and still brave... i am really proud of them... and the more i can feel the tv series... though a little typical drama... still it never fails to get the message across me... i now have thoughts of going Children home as a volunteer or in the future... if i can afford, will adopt a kid... hehe... Kids are just so cuuutteee~!! They need our love...~!! Spread the love around, my friends~!

Ai.Hen.Nan

      Too many things i wanted to do... but too little time i had... haha.. due to the tight working schedule and tiredness... i postponed all my events... haircut... visiting of dentist... visiting the polyclinic again... going to gym... visit the skin doctor.... eh... why got 3 clinic? haha... But i went to three yesterday... later going for polyclinic & dentist...

      I still prefer short hair... haha.. now i am back to decent looking... those who never get to see the beng me... too bad lar... hehe... i feel too uncomfortable in longer hairstyle. Now im refreshed... and totally recharged... One bad thing is ... haha.. my brother is back in Singapore later in the afternoon... which means... getting a car to drove around Singapore is going to be tough again...

      I was so bored yesterday... Thankfully i had my buddy with me... went KTV... and for the first time... i sang Weilian song without difficulty... haha... but i lowered the music for 4 key to sing his song... yesterday had a few song i sang i was really happy with... maybe the system... maybe with my buddy... its an enjoyment... totally enjoying....

      Went to watch 300 last FRI... it wasn't that good as a movie... i would not recommend any one go and watch... unless you guys like to watch way-too-define-muscled guys... only the ancient having sex (making the movie M18) a more pleasant moment... and that last for erm... less than a minute? haha... so better don't go watch lar... haha...

      I totally need a rest like today. After working O.T. for consecutively 4 days... i need a break, man~! As you guys know from previous post... i worked another OT till 3am in the morning on WED. That was tough... thankfully, i pulled through... Tonight i will be going back on my Rest Day for O.T. due to shortage of manpower in night shift.

      Went bowling @Marina South. There was a BN gathering for Amour Unit, not sure which unit though... They were loud... it made me think back of our SIG Unit... we aren't as loud but we were fun loving too... haha.. Thanks to my injured finger, i couldn't bowl with my own ball... but still i managed to get lots of fun despite so-so results... All thanks to Dz... Not so much about competing... Not very focus on scores... but we focus on strikes & spares though, haha... its fun ... friendly competition... It was FUN~!!!

      Lunch at Toa Payoh was enjoyable. Heartland definitely had many good food to offer... Hokkien Prawn Noodles is famous there & its really nice... the taste is very different from other places... not sure if its because i was hungry. But its really nice... and unique... even the crows came for it... haha...

      The highlight of the day must be the trip from West to my comfort zone. Comfort Zone includes AMK, SK, Hougang, Bishan, ToaPayoh & Thomson. Thankfully, i managed to navigate my way to these place. I am totally lost when i am at SCGS. When i look at the street directory, i feel that i am on the wrong route despite Dz told me the way back. He went off to other place. So i had to come home myself... Its really an experience... though i could not say i now know how to come back le... but still its really a feat for me... haha... Vrrooomm... now not so afraid of driving le... after this incident... I CAN DO IT, man~!

Dreamgirls : Review

Dare To Dream, Ready To Achieve... A line i learnt from Braddell Sec. Dreamgirls is a show about three girls dreaming to be singers one day. They worked hard... appearing in numerous talent show... singing songs written by one of the members, Effie's (Jennifer Hudson), brother C.C. White (Keith Robinson)... They did had their dream come through. Thanks to their cunning & comercialised manager, Curtis Taylor (Jamie Fox). They first started as background vocal of Jimmy 'Thunder' Early (Eddie Murphy). Then they became their own stars after that. Initially, it was Effie who became the leading vocalist of the group. But soon, for commercial reasons, Deena (Beyonce) was chosen due to her looks.

Effie soon, was kicked out of the group due to a misunderstanding & her attitude in work. Taylor continues to morph the group. From R&B to POP, suiting the 'white' crowds. They won fans, but lost their souls... Jimmy, C.C. (Effie's bro) & The Dreams soon realised that they are controlled by Taylor. He chose commercial than soul... stealing Effie's songs for The Dreams... Crushing Effie 's comeback singles... Effie, despite having a child of Taylor, refused to give up. Never did she tell Taylor that she is having her child. She worked hard & soon her voice get recognised. Misunderstanding is cleared. The Dreams disbanded. Jimmy is dead. Effie made her comeback...

This is a star-casted movie... starring Jamie Fox, Eddie Murphy, Beyonce Knowles, AI3 alumni Jennifer Hudson, Keith Robinson and many great vocal actor & actress... Its storyline is old but there is a twist in it. This makes the story a success. Great music, great vocal... it moves me almost to tears (i held back, mind you...) Jennifer won Academy Awards & Oscars for Best Supporting Actress, what more can you say?

Beyonce's acting was okay as her character did not requires much acting. Jennifer was great... Especially the scene when she returned to the stage to find out she was replaced. The solo part when she sings 'And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going' was extremely touching. Despite her deafening voice, i was totally moved. I believe that is her winning part. Display her acting skills. If you have not decide what movie to watch. I recommend this one. Its for the music, for her acting... maybe not so much of the storyline.
