H1N1

When the first case of H1N1 appear in Singapore, many kiasu Singaporeans went to get the thermometers and masks. While many others perform their daily routine as usual. But yet, there is this group of as*h*le stomper or netizens bashing the behaviour of these victims of the virus.

Some questioned why they go to the affected areas when they know that these countries have high H1N1 death rate. While others slammed the victims' decision in returning to Singapore when they are not feeling well. Hey people, SHUT UP lar~! If you are them, i am VERY SURE you will do like wise or faster return home, or even keep mum about your conditions. At most, quarantine for days without visiting the doctor.

This SMU student was brave enough to visit her doctor right after putting her things at home. Her boyfriend was with her and quarantine himself even before the doctor in Tan Tock Seng Hospital confirmed her illness. The family doctor did the right thing in calling 993 for ambulance to send her to the hospital immediately instead of letting her go to the hospital herself.

This student (forget her name) could simply get the medicine (at home or from doctor) and quarantine herself at home. Her boyfriend could go home and not check into a hotel for self-quarantine. The doctor can merely give her some medicine and ask her to quarantine at home. Why couldn't people salute these people for their courage, right doings etc? Why can't Singaporeans be more sympathetic? Singapore is turning ugly SPECIALLY THANKS to these people. It maybe evil, but i do hope that you guys are the one that got transmitted with the disease instead of the victims now. Then will you understand their feelings.

I heard that there are 3 confirmed cases. Its shocking to know that all of the sudden, so many cases appear. But does that means that our measures are working? our measures did not relaxed even when the color code change? Great job, Singapore~! (excluding those netizens) Get well soon, victims~!

Uniquely Singapore

I did not expect to kickstart my plans to explore Singapore so early. Early this month, an idea struck my mind. I wanted to explore those free for all places of interest in Singapore. Carrying my camera, I want to capture all the beautiful scenery that still existing for free. This idea became stronger after hearing my mum say Sentosa do not allow them to take photos while my cousins took those paid rides etc. It make me angry. Why the rest of the world allow photos to be taken at their places of interest and amusement park, but Sentosa denies? If any non-Singaporean see this post, i strongly NOT recommending Sentosa to you guys. Its way too expensive and nothing attractive.

I am sure there are lots of places I had not went to. I had thought about going to heartlands to take photos, following the MRT track. From north to south, east to west. Other than heartland, how can i miss out Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden and the newly built Marina Barrage.

I also have not taken time to visit the two latest Shopping center in Singapore - Iluma Shopping Centre & Tampines One. It will not only be a shopping trip but also a sight-seeing trip. I will take the chance to explore the design of the buildings. Do you know that National Library (in Bugis) is the Most intellegent Building in Singapore? You will be amazed if you find out all the technology in-built into that building.

Look! I was so carried away in talking about my upcoming plans and forgot to say about last night's activity. The place i went last night was... Tanglin Village~! (click here) I didn't know there was such a place in Singapore. Thanks Bros...

I was kept in suspense until i reached the place. I was told that we were going to a 'haunted' place to chill out. It sure look like one when we reached there. No street light, quiet road, lots of grasses make it look worse... Once we reached the Dempsey Hill (Cluster). I got to see one of the crowded nightlife in Singapore. Many restaurants, bar, cafe... are situated on the hill. Man, it was really crowded. We finally settled down at Dome

After chilling, we walk around the hills to explore a little. Tanglin Village was divided into three clusters but only Dempsey Cluster are crowded with food and chill-outs. There are antique stores as well. For example, Shang Dynasty antiques or even 'Bing Ma Yong' (those grey warrior statue). It is scary to see these statues at such a dark place. We walked pass there pretty fast. haha. I am sure we will be there again to chill. I do recommend you guys to drive if you want to get there, unless you want to take a cab there.

I have to wait for Brother Hao & Wen to send me photos before i could upload here. Looking forward to go Botanic Garden and Fort Canning with bros again...

Mood: Disgusted

Disgusted. Frustrated. De-moralised. Tired... I couldn't really described how i felt. Its been a real bad week for me. Many little things happened, contributing to a bad week i had. Maybe, my lack of sleep cause me to get more agitated easily.

I made a small comment on facebook and yet receive an unexpected remark. I felt very frustrated. Why couldn't I comment or do what I wanted? I took a day to cool down and decided not to care about those 'extra' people which my comments don't concern about them. So I do what I like. Unfortunately, I was disappointed not to receive any comments from the person I messaged. Alright, maybe she felt the way too. Its ok, its over. Some people are just more subjective. I met enough to comment this view.

I had wanted to go for a swim on Thursday night since there were no lesson scheduled on that day. I had a bad day, plus the facebook thingy, I need some exercise to cool myself. Running was not an option for me recently, I felt tired at night since I usually run during late night. Thus, going for a swim may be a better options since i had not swim for a long time.

I was shocked but happy to see that the pool was rather quiet. Usually, swimming pool are filled with people. That night, there are some swimmers at the two ends of the pool. Only one or two are swimming their laps. I got into the pool and began to swim. After i completed 100m, i took a breath and felt absolutely disgusted. Have you ever swam in a pool of flying ants, flies or insects? I didn't, too, till that night.

Due to the weather recently, these insects will appear after rain. They tends to fly towards lamps and lights. Its not surprising that they flew towards the floodlights of the pool or stadium. Swimming pool was filled with water that reflect the lights and create an illusion to the insects that there are light source in the pool. These brainless insects begins to dive into the pool. When i saw this sight, i absolutely disgusted and disappointed with Singapore Sports Council. They should have close the pool completely instead. I tried to endure the 'fear' and swam another 150m before i gave up.

i never swam so fast before and also lifted myself so high to catch a breath (and not the insects). I will never go for night swimming again. Day swimming? depends.

Roller-Coaster

I'm on a roller coaster today... Ups & down... no... is 'Very Up' then... 'Very Down'.... haha. I did not expect today to be like this.. but overall... i learned a lesson, what's been going on behind my back...

First, the not-so-happy thing... Those surrounding me should know that i did, once awhile, mention about my work place... Receiving remarks and comments that are negative about me... I wonder why and who did that... Though i do have suspect in my mind, the puzzle is not put together yet. During lunch, i heard that my ex-boss who peeped into our emails, asked my collegue about why i send a certain email. For your info, that email meant to be an info for shift members, letting them know who is coming to take over them during the one-man-per-team period. Am i wrong? The lady boss interprete it as i send them so that they know who is working on which day, so can plan outing... Though it wasn't wrong if we want to do that, but her comments was simply thinking that i was the one planning something. Even give comments like 'so i know who is playing politics'. I was like... "WTF~!" Whoever know me well, will know how much i detest about this. Thankfully, those collegues of mine, all know me pretty well and all know that she is the one playing politics, but... i just feel unfair and angry for being accused.

She still can be friendly in front of me. But she seldom give me any information about the shift or things that i should not know... Wearing a mask in office is the worst thing anyone can do... that is why i kept myself out of offic, keep myself busy in cleanroom. If i am the kind of politics player... i would have curry flavour my manager... no wonder he also change his attitude towards me... but i don't give a damn, i worked there for my supervisor and shift members... if my supervisor think i underperform, i am willing to quit. But till now, he still know i am working hard.

The positive news, i am back on talking terms with Tun Min. After shutdown (around a month plus already), he did not say hi or talk to me in office. Today, i try to talk to him like nothing happen before. Initially, he did reply but the atmosphere still pretty tense... but i was so happy when he came over to help me inside cleanroom... without me asking. Then things became more relax, he smile more, joke around abit more... I was so happy...~!! i know it may sound stupid to some of you... but i treasure friendship alot...

i decided not to ask why and what happened in the past weeks. I learnt that when a guys don't wish to say, don't pester for the answer, if everything is ok with you, just leave it as it is. In the past, given my character, i would have pester to know what happen... but i learned along the way and learnt from bad experience... Anyway, what matter most is my effort pays... we are back on talking terms... YEAH~!
