Emptiness In Me

Questions after questions... It seems to be endless... i begins to doubt my life. It seems that my life are pretty dull and i have wasted all my life doing nothing, learning nothing. i, somehow, seem to have 'dis-connected' from the on-going outside world. What has happen to Singapore recently? Don't ask me... i'll never get the answer... Which is the latest Nokia model? God knows...
These few days, i felt an emptiness in my heart, my life in fact. There are something missing that caused the emptiness. There must have something i have yet to fulfill. BUT, what is it? I don't know. My morale are now pretty low. I starting to think... "Who am i?", "Why am i in this world?", "Who i really want to be?", "Will i be noticed even IF i no longer live on earth? etc. In search for the real soul... MY soul... *daze*
This emptiness makes me feel guilty... feel bad... but also form the hunger to achieve something within myself. This emptiness came to me before and subsided. Now its here again. I tell myself, "i did it once, i definitely have the power to destroy it once again. I will not be defeated easily". At least i'll try to change all this emptiness from fears and depression to strength and changes. No point having fears and suffer from depression over this. If i felt that i have not achieve anything, achieve something. Yes! Hunger. Let this emptiness push me to another height of life.

This Swedish proverb somehow catches my eyes when i came to it. It seems to describe my feeling. I am trying to hope more and fear less. I normally say more than i talk, as far as i know. Hate will not be around me for more than, at most 2 weeks. Its too tiring to hate and of course, great to love... Falls Asleep
It was a long day, yesterday. I went to AMK to get NYPBC's namelist printed. Then to Striker's for training. Almost those who came last week were there once again. And most of them are still very very enthusiastic about the sport. There were two training session. With those who has their own equipments making up the first session. For the second session, its more on beginners even though there are still some good players and some Year 3.
The training lasted for 3 hours. Normally is a 2 1/2 hrs training. Due to the overwhelming turn-up, they decide to extend by half an hour to let us bowl more. Hence, its kind of draggy as there are about 6-7 members in a pair of lane. Seniors were made to split up and joined the juniors lane and mixed around. And we DID! So much fun. Unlike training, we were joking around and looking at how people bowl and teasing each other. Not much of serious-ness. I guess its alright since its just the second training. Maybe those who stayed for 3 more trainings, will be more concentrate and serious about the sport. Passion needed in order for them to persevere

After the long day, i relaxes at home at night watching TV. Guess what? For the first time since months of tiredness, i fell asleep on the sofa of my and was waken up only later by my aunt to ask me to sleep in my room. i felt so so great and refreshing now. Long time since i last feel so good!

Love
L O V E... A four letter word that had make all people living in peace,but it can also create jealousy and hatred among human. Causing riots... arguements... fights... So can you handle Love? Do you need Love? or more specifically, do u need BGR at the moment?
What is actually Love? Is it a feeling? Or is it a need? It is still an unexplainable feeling to many people. No one can explain why they love someone... Why they are not ready for it but still wanted it so much... There is only a thin line seperate Love and Friendship. When someone is very close to you and treat you good, u will begin to think... Is this Love? Is he/she falls in Love with you? But that person may just treat you as friend. To him, he may feel that there is nothing between you and him but to you, its a different story. He may treat eveyone or girls equally. But in your eyes, he treat you better than the rest. You think you fall in Love. So, it's pretty hard to differentiate Love and Friendship, especially in Singapore. Traditional mindset still alive, when a guy and a girl play together, they are in Love.
Of course, as i said before (accidentally deleted *sigh*... ), if you think you like the person, tell him/her. No point keep on thinking of the person and not knowing if the person like you or not. Yes, you might face rejection, but isn't it better to know how the person feel for you? If he loves you too, Congratulation! If not, let him go... Treat him like how you treat your friends. There are definitely someone better out there. If you keep hanging on to it, maybe one day your friendship will be at jeopardy and you might just lose a friend you don't wish to lose...
Its important for us to let go when there is a need to. Its not easy, you will say. But as the chinese saying goes, "Chang Tong Bu Ru Duan Tong". Get hurt now and stand up again. If you drag on, who know whether you can take it next time. You might love him more deeply and will get more hurt.

Fulfiling...
Today is the first bowling session for NYP Bowling Club Enrolment 2003. Not 100% attendance but its pretty encouraging to see alot of them actually can bowl... much better than me. Today's score was merely 107, 129, 110++ only... *sigh* some of them even hit 200++ using HOUSE BALL!!! Feel pretty tired after my training... *sigh* i trained at 1130 today. As the training goes on... my leg are weaker. i guess need to strengthen it *smile*Feeling great. As the Interactive Bowl 2003 was a success. Catering for newbies in our club, they begins to bond with each other and the seniors as well. *shout* GREAT!! isn't it? Hope that the attendance will maintain. 10 more recruitments today. which now total up to 111 bowlers. What a number! *smile*
Finally ! i go and redeem my cordless mouse today. After three times i try to go and redeem... THIS IS IT!!! *smile* Anyway, today is pretty fulfilling to me even if its like tiring... Meeting Eunice tomorrow and doing some cross stitch for YY & LY... will try and get it done.

Vanilla Coke
Having a drink at MacDonald with HK, we drank Vanilla Coke. When i first sip the drink, a very strange feeling crawled into me. After a few more sips, i recognised the feeling. A very memorable feeling. NTUC!!! Yes, when Vanilla Coke first come out. I drank at NTUC... and most of the time in NTUC... i really miss the feeling. HK dun have the feeling but he also a little miss NTUC *sigh* i miss the people there. I saw Jenny Sim but never call her, she was with her friends.Most of the time, we never observe that little things do make a BIG difference. At different part of our life, there will be a thing, a food or just a scent, that will remind us the days we had. Be it good or bad, happy or sad... its still what we have gone through... making us stronger than before. We will never know what they are or how they look like, but once you 'touch' it... taste it... smell it... you know... that you have come to present through a long road... a very very long road... The feeling you have that time will come back to you... A very memorable feeling to me...
i know that not all will agree with me or some may even find me behaving abnormally. But its true. i mean not my behaviour, but what i say. The feeling can sometimes make me cry... like just now... i was in daze. All of sudden, i felt sad... i felt lost... then talk a lot of philosophy... then when i was withdrawing cash... Guess what... I accidentally press $1000... I was shocked! Now the money is still with me as my mum were out with my dad while she brought the bank book too *sigh* Not sure what had got into me today...

Dreamz
Have you ever thought of what you want to be "when you grow up"? i noe that its kind of absurb to ask this question where we normally ask kids or teenagers (for some teacher, they do ask ok?!)... Hmm... all of the sudden, i can't seem to find an answer. *laugh* Really! But come to think of it, i used to think about this and i want to be this and that. Guess that all are not really possible, but hey, its a good thing to have dreams.A teacher. This was my childhood dream. To be a teacher. A teacher who can attain respect from students. An approachable teacher where students can bond well with. A caring, understanding teacher who can cater the needs for individual. Maybe Art & Craft or Maths or even a Music teacher, since its like my best subjects as a kid *smile*... i was taught by numerous teachers who really care, and of course, those who can't really teach even though they know their subject well. Hence, i want to be one of the teacher, different from those who can't teach and help innocent, cute little kids. But with the demanding standard of english needed, eventually lose the interest. *sigh*
A designer. An animation designer. A fashion designer. A logo designer.. i just want to be one due to my interest in colors and designs. i love the cartoons and animations. Hope to create one but due to my results, i was not able to enrolled in Digital Media Design (NYP). i landed in a totally boring topic to me, Electronic, Computers and Communication Eng. Still i do sketches and design when i'm free *grin*
A singer. Music has, always, been my passion. i just love music. i join music club in Primary School and choir in Secondary School. But as i am not an independant as the other teens, i joined CCAs, ECA then, when my friends want to join. But even though i may not shine in Music classes or Choir, i know my passion for it. i sing whenever i can, no... not to the crowd, i somehow have crowd-fright(if there is one) when doing solo. i will try to perform to my very best, during Choir practices, concerts etc. I love to express myself through the songs i sing *smile*
An acting artiste. As i believe that life is a living stage, we have to act in our daily life. Reason? We will not appear weak. We all act in our life to hang on to the society. But when we turn on the TV, we see our story on TV. The TV dramas normally reflect all the stuff you have been through, be it good or bad. Being an artiste, he act to show our emotions (even though sometimes he need not act, and it just come out naturally)for the respective characters.
But soon i drop the ideas of singing and acting too... It was due to lack of image, myself. *sad* But i guess, i still can do it as my past-time... Right? *smile*
Bond Closer
Club Crawl 2003 finally came to an end yesterday evening. But, a new chapter of bowling is bound to begin. *smile* Even though, the team's (club's) enrolment rate has dropped by 45%, we are still optimistic on keeping them with us. In the past years, even with a high enrolment rate, its only 10-15 from the batch stayed on. The reasons for lower rate is the venue of Club Crawl and this year, there wasn't any promotion offered by us. But of course, the interactive bowl this SAT will have a lucky draw. Prizes are confidential *grin* Hence, i believe, this year's newcomers will be there because of their interest instead of getting the promotions.i consider this year's Club Crawl from us are a success. We targeted at the female market. They make up to 49% of the newbies. But this shows the decrement in guys. The bond of the team are now closer too. Its important due to the new batch of committee members coming up. At least, we get to talk to each other. Most of the time we trained at different time and different lane. So the interaction was brought to minimal. So i guess this event really let us 'talk'. For the first time, i really talk to Jamie, Michelle, Gerald, Vera, Aeson. So i guess its worth the No-Paid-Leave *smile*
i used to be a FB supporter. But i guess, im beginning to lose the interest. This year's performance marked the best and worst performance by FB. Why? FB's guys (and 2 gals) improved from last year. Although you can see that they were dancing their own style but that the way hip-hop should be. FREE STYLE. Of course, as a group there must be some same moves but if totally same, it would not be nice or its not hip-hop. Of course i cannot represent other people views. At least that's mine. FB girls on the other hand, famous for their gothic dance, were having their bad day. Its seem like the young batch are putting a few pieces of woods on stage. They barely dance... moving hands and legs aren't dancing. Its their strongest area, gothic, yet it look like pathetic. Only when the second part where a senior (year 3) show what FB are mad of. But still, one person cannot make a big different. Overall, the girls sucks.
i also met up with my ah-jie, Jannah today. Her hair was slightly longer. I sit down and chit chat before heading to Sports Hall for Club Crawl with Adila (erm... spelling might be wrong). i also bumped into Sock Mui, YY and LY. Hmm... but still never meet Belinda. So i guess, its really fated *smile* i really miss the environment, can't wait to go back...

Tired Yet Happy...
Today's Club Crawl 2003 was actually quite tiring for me... as firstly, i do not have enough sleep that cause me to have headache... secondly, i need to run all around NYP to get the flyers printed etc. But its all fun and its a first, for me, to really communicate and with the rest of the bowling team.i find it funny *smile* . i don't know i'm back in school for friends meeting or club. *laugh* it seems that i need to meet a lot of people or a lot of people want to see if im getting fatter *grin*... But i managed to see Jenson and JianLong only. Of course, there are Jeremy, Andreas and Rajesh, whom were at the event themselves *smile*.
Its so so tired, yet i find it worthwhile. i felt so much better, as if im really back home. So welcomed *smile*. But of course, the negative thing is that we need to scan wherever we go, so its a little troublesome. Not too bad comparing to other CCA but our enrolment was down by more than 80% compared to last year's. Only 33. But will work harder tommorrow and hope to see more friends *smile*

Over The Weekends
A pretty busy weekend. Full of work and fun!!! On FRI, i meet my Ex-NTUC staffs, the GEN-Y people. Yeah! we have fun and play like nobody's business in TimeZone (AMK). *Shout* But that day, i spend only $20+, so i guess its still ok (i can spend up to $30-$40. *smile*). In the end, we have more than 3000 tickets and we redeem for lots of stuff. The most stupid thing is the color pens. As my friend had changed for me while i was playing, i guess they don't really know me well enough. She told me is another person say i wanted it. But when i ask that person, she say she did not say as she know i did not say i want and she at first want to change another thing for me. hahaha... Anyway, i just take lor :p. It's FREE anyway. But i hope ML stop putting words into other people mouth. I am losing trust in her!On SAT, i was late for bowling training. In the end, i'm the second and the last to go for training. The rest went for afternoon training i guess. After my training, we talk about Club Crawl 2003. It seems that we have alot to be done. *sigh* In the end, i'm still involve even though i once say i don't wish to be involved in this year's event. Then i meet LY for her to pass me something and we went to library that will be closing at 5pm... Isn't it SICKENING?? *angry* But my mood was lightened when i register for SingTel Broadband and found my Sketching Folders back *smile*. Ups & DownsFinally, my petpet level UP! SilVeR is now level 2. I really happy with the fact that i play so long finally level up. Also, i attain the Grand Master status for Destruct-O-Match. Yeah~~~ Now i have 4 Grand Master Status :p. i not childish but i really bored here ! *sigh*i not only sick of my working life. i am also sick of my partner. An asshole. He tell my supervisor my work was 70% done while i have not even 50% done! *angry* He should have consult me first. Now, i thought since he finished the database, i have nothing to do. He just told me, he told the supervisor that we will produce 2 database. One each. i am going to kill him if i can. An ass who can't even differentiate between "menu" and "manual". Keep pronouncing all the words wrongly, yet he think he aim to go University. Social University is the place for him *evil grin* He really spoil my day! *sigh* i will not just let it go so simply, don't worry, not going to kill him, but to prove i am the better one... better Watch Out! Really hope that i can relax later when i meet Sherona and ML. Haven't talk to my supervisor about next week leave because i am scared he ask me about the database. Hope luck will change soon... | |

Yet another day. When everyone is doing their job, i'm doing my personal stuff. Lame? But that's a truth. I'm kind of bored in here. Can't really wait to go back to school. Not sure if i am approved for my two days leave for club crawl. i will be toking to my in-charge tomorrow. Hope that its approve.i don't know i should say i am lucky or i am not. i actually forgotten to bring my wallet. In the end, i ended up borrowing money from my partner at work. *sigh* At first, i was supposed to meet Sherona. But in the afternoon, she say change to tomorrow. So i ended up no need to use much money. That's why i am not sure, am i lucky or what?

The Unexpected...
i went to meet HK for bowling meeting in the evening. Ended up with only HK and Robin present. Designs were squeezed out of our brain and in the end, six of the designs were mine *sigh* Anyway, i actually did not expect to design because i thought that another group of people are doing it. Due to project and time schedule, they did not do it... With the deadline drawing closer and closer... i have no choice but to help the newly-elected president, HK. Surprisingly, mine is the chosen one *LOL* and will need to improve on it... i guess, i will upload some of them into my gallery, should i be able to create it in PC *smile*.We also went to bowl for two games since the venue of our meeting place at Striker's Bowl (AMK). The sound of the pinfalls... The sound of the ball hitting the pins, tempted him. I just accompany him even though i felt weak and leg mucles are aching. i ended with results that was surprisingly low. i also did not expect my ball curved so much. *amazed* I guess its the best route i ever get since i first became a hook-ball bowler. i like the curve, i have no mood to adjust myself for strikes. *smile*.
ML and Sherona meet us while we were bowling the 2nd, which is also our last, game of the day. We ended up playing in TimeZone and those children's game... We enter with money, but leave with sweets, lollipops *smile* and Yan Yan. We exchanged our 300++ tickets for these snacks *smile*. Almost forgot, 2 pig-picture card holder and a old-post-box-like coin bank *lol*
We sat in MOS burger and chat till around 11pm before we left AMK. A relaxing day instead. Never thought that we had so much fun...

Anyway, i'll come to a decision slightly later.Today has been a boring day. There are work to do yet i can't seem to find the solution. Then whole day was like looking at blogs, doing quizes, designing. *sigh* Not that i do not like all these stuffs, its just that i'm not the kind of person who can sit still. I need to move around, chat with friends etc. So i guess that cause me some boredom here. So dead....
Sometimes, i do wish to work in an adminstrating environment. Face computers, playing my favorite games etc... But, i guess, this is not for me. I can't sit still. I suddenly miss NTUC. As i always have something to do there. Even though it might be tough, the environment is positive. How i wish my life can be more exciting... more unpredictable... and more FUN!!!! $600? hard to earn... *sigh*
