never say die

Life is so precious... Never will he ever commits suicide... He will not bear to leave his friends... He will never let people feel sad due to him... even if no one cares that he has left this world...

He needs to apologise to Lee Chang, Teck Hui, Jiu Hsiang who worries about him... who afraid he do anything silly... He will face the life with some purpose... These few days, he will utilise it and allowing himself to re-born.... Finding the essence of life... Definitely, he will be back blogging soon after he rested enough and after his soul returning back to his body...

Till then, let's just pray for this little chap...

missing

The true soul had somehow been missing in action... he who always been the happy-go-lucky personnel... he whom people always make fun of... he who always be the one to do his stuff... was somehow gone missing...

It wasn't a good week for him... Apart from the Monday's Node outing where he enjoyed himself in the long forgotten Para Para... He had been running out of luck... He dreamt about a ghost (old lady) who seemed to be torturing him in his sleep... Its so real that it resulted him to wake up twice in the middle of the night with aching all over his body... The next day was no better for him... Feeling restless... The night sleep was again disturbed... but thankfully, this time round... the thang disturbed him only for a few minutes... before he could finally sleep till early morning...

In between Wed-Fri... he somehow lost his identity... feeling that his presence was not felt... was of no importance... Inferior as he always does... he tends to be alone... needing to be alone in search for his soul... worrying his friends... Thankfully, Teck Hui & Jiu Hsiang had always been there to push him... wake him... showing concern... of course, there are others who walked into the third room checking if he was alright... he could felt the warmth but he just need to rejuvenate... feeling his stand in the environment...

Hopefully, the new him could be found real soon...

games, movies, comix

With Terence pulling out last minute... my mood was dampened... The original plan of having 7 friends went down to 4 friends (5 person including me)... I went on with the rest as i don't like to 'put aeroplane' at the very last minutes...

In the end, TeckHui's friends (a couple) and Weiliang's friend joined us... We went to Holiday Plaza, Palangi Mall, Palangi Leisure Mall & City Square to get Games, Comics & Movies (DVDs, VCDs)... It wasn't a bad trip... since i got my comics... and i felt so much more relaxed when i am in JB... not that i don't like Singapore... i felt that the pace was more relaxed...

Didn't have a nice impression on WL's friend.... but TH's friends are funny people... We did get what we all wanted... Kang get his games changed... oh ya... the highlight would be the sugercane drink... Never had i ever drank such a big cup of sugercane... it is equivalent to Burger King's Large drinks... Can you imagine? It was during our dinner... and we ate alot for just RM35 pax. But from TH's friend... the food's standard and service dropped... she said that she will bring us to other place, should we go in with them again...

Never went singing or bowling... so its not so much of fun trip... but shopping trip... it would be more fun is Kek could stay earlier & Dingze, Edwin & Terence can go...

Braddell No More

From camp, i rushed down to meet Liying & Eunice... Meifen was there too when we went back to Braddell-Westlake... Walking into the Westlake Campus... we, of course, do not feel at home... we were only in the campus for less than a year and only during out examinations...

The dance was so-so (only caught the last part)... The ambience was not bad... the artistic wise still need to improve... and the food... was pretty average or below average... we can cook better... haha... Most importantly, we saw Ms Aljunied & Mdm Ong... and Thankfully, Ms Aljunied had time for us... We chat for pretty long...

Nice feeling going back... even though not going to Braddell Campus... But there will be a dinner later this year... i'm sure to attend... the last time Braddell or Braddell-Westlake appearing in the map of Singapore...

PMS

Days after days... i had not recovered from the PMS period... (a term my friends used to describe the period when i had mood swing in poly days) And days after days... i am just getting tired...

Life is so boring... everyday seems to be repeating itself... everything was so predictable... no challenges making me look forward to... the only challenge is to improve myself... own timing... own results... and being a perfectionist (i am trying to change)... i wasn't making things easy for myself... there are many nights when i wanted to be in a quiet place... an empty room or even the balcony... thx people for accompanying me...

I did felt some warmth this week... from John upon standing by my side when Tee Rong somehow react a little negatively to my comments... Jin, Kelvin & Jiu Hsiang for IPPT... TeckHui, LT Wu & JianXin for reacting to my light injury... And i think to him might be an unnecessity... but to me... its something you'll seldom hear...

During setting up, i was dumbfound at one moment... it happened when i suppose to do camoe but that day itself... we were excused of doing that... in the end... i stop for a few minutes before helping in guy rope... Even when i helped... i entangled one of the rope and couldn't see the correct route... which slows the whole process down by at least 5minutes... Everyone will feel that the timing ok and might be due to my injury time... but i feel its because i do not know my stuff well... i used to be able to handle it... but due to leaving the thing out of my job scope... i lost the touch... Sorry... Dingze... i'll try harder... and make sure we make the timing... and Thanks Sgt Marcus... for your trust...

movin' on

Every minute, every second, every moment... things changes... when i went back to THPZ with Robin & Xinyi... you can see a lot of new staff there... The purpose of going back? Ms Lim promoted... and will be transfered to another outlet... She deserved the promotion... but THPZ's loss...

Through our conversations, we noticed that all three of us grown up... and Ms Lim, Ms Koh saw our growth... see us grown up... haha... we were even tauted to be the best behaved batch... They had no problems with us... haha... Still remembered those times when i stayed on and worked when they needed us... those stock takes... those peak period... i even stayed in Singapore to work for them and abandon the plans of going Korea for a winter holiday with my family...

Definitely, we miss them... and i am sure they will miss us... During our time there... we won Best Outlet in 2003/04 & came in 1-2-1 place in 3 categories in the 2nd quater of 2004... That was when we had our wonderful time and when... THPZ had the largest group of young energy... our generation did alot to help the outlet... inside out... dual job scope or even triple... we were taught to complete multi task with just cashier's pay...

Let's just hope that the new batch will uphold and work hard for the outlet there...

s+oned

Went Carrefour & the brand new Giant... Pretty Big & the prices are pretty low... in the end... i get myself a earphone from AIWA... initially, plans to get Seinhesser but didn't find the $14-price-tag one... haha... so i get this new kind instead... try ba...

This week, i failed my SOC... failed to complete all obstacles... failed the timing... total failure... need lots of practice... i guess... Next week will be IPPT again... will i pass? God knows...

Looks inside my wallet... found that i spent quite alot this week... $20+ on canteen... no lar... largely due to that they had not return me the money... Heard that? Ah Jin... don't forget le... haha... Hmm.. get from the rest also... haha... Anyway... must start dieting le.. haha... recently start to cut the carbo intakes... but still gorging on OREOs... haha.. have to stop real soon...

At times in camp... i will still get stoned... or wanted to be alone... so if i 'de zui' or ever step into any of your way... i apologised... Not knowing why... but my life and future seems to be worrying me... Feeling that i should not get the chance to go Uni le... The chances are slim...

Short Music Reviews

Twins       One of the 3 long waited albums i reviewed here... Hong Kong Pop-group, Twins covered a few of their more popular Cantonese songs... not really a superb album... but considering their first chinese album... it was a nice effort... They do have a few good songs... like "Xin Guang You Le Yuan" but songs like "Mo Shi Ke Mei You Yan Lei" did not turn out to be as good as the cantonese version covered by Charlene... Overall? 3 stars... (out of 5)

F.I.R       After their great success in their debut... Fans can't wait for their second album to be out... Unfortunately, it does not live up to my expectation... Not that their vocal wasn't good enough but i expect slightly more power-packed songs... two of the more catchy songs should be their "Qian Nian Zi Lian" and "Wu Xian"... On whole, 2.5 stars...

Vivian Hsu       I never really care about this album when it first being advertise... but due to friend's recommendation... i sort of giving it a try... Vivian to me was someone who can't really carry a song well... and i can't remember any songs from her that make a impression on me... but i guess "Hen Hen Ai" album change my view on her... One of the better release compared to the rest... She covered Jamelia's "Superstar"... It turned out pretty well... as i wasn't into Chinese version of English songs... so... im pretty impressed... Her "Hen Hen Ai" sounds a little similar to a Spice Girl song too... On whole, 4 stars...

JJ Lin       After his "Haven" turning out to be a hit of the town... Local reputation was once again uphold by Wayne, better to be known as JJ Lin... His 3rd album was simply unique... With a wide variations in genre... he showcases his vocal well... The singapore edition includes one bonus track... i heard from Jin that it was a duet with his Shi-Mei... "Bei Feng Chui Guo De Xia Tian" is definitely a song not to be miss... "Mu Nai Yi", a fast track... & "Yi Qian Nian Yi Hou", a slow track showed that he can be versatile in his singing skills... Moreover, Sembawang Music is selling it at $12.90 with Poster (While Stock Last) or you can get it @ $12.50 in Chinatown Shops... Overall: 4.5 stars...

Coco Lee       After almost 3 years of absence in the music scene, Coco came back with her second english album "Exposed" after her "Just No Other Way" release in 1999... This time round... her songs featured are fast pace... while the previous edition contains more ballad... Like Vivian, she project herself as a sexy lady... she works with Joon Park of G.O.D. and Blaaze for her album... The impact wasn't very big... Her songs are commendable but not WOW kind... On whole, 3 stars...

New.Z       New.Z is a all-male group, or boyband... This album have a rather soothing song "Suo Ai Ta" but unfortunately... its a little too sweet sounding... very typical boyband material... all ballad... not much of showcase their vocal... making me doubting their vocal range... Not a very good album but listenable... If you need something smooth or alot of soothing songs... this might work for you... On whole, 2 stars...

Singapore Idol Runner-up, Sylvester Sim, finally came out with his own album... Instead of competiting with Taufik in the English Music Industry, Sly ventures into the Chinese scene... His "Take Flight" album wasn't that bad... he sounded pretty good... at least better than expectation... "Di Yi Ge Yuan Ying" stood out of his album which consist of a lot of ballads... and the song that made him a household name, "An Jing"... Overall, i'll give it 3 stars...

Sagittarius in Love
November 22-December 21

Sagittarius treats love like any other adventure in their lives and embraces the opportunities to discover new plateaus in the experience of love, lust and passion. They are funny, charming, gregarious and usually highly intelligent begins who make genuinely enjoyable company and are captivating in their sparkling personalities.

They have big dreams and far reaching goals and they easily share what their minds are experiencing often forgetting that for some words are meant to become reality.

Sagittarius is not always capable of bringing reality to their words and such is the way it is meant to be. They infuse us with inspiration and allow us to see all the possibilities in the world around us.

In close personal relationships that can often cause troubles as they promise more than they can deliver....or....have changes of emotions that put them into completely different mind sets from one day to another.

They are active and vibrant and expect their loved ones to enjoy the same kind of physical adventures. They are appearance conscious and their wit is one of their greatest assets...

beyond naked eyes

Feeling rather low this week... No matter how hard people around me tried to cheer me up... it didn't seem to help, deep within my soul... On the crust... everything seems to be calm... but nobody knows that the mantle is not stable all these while...

People saw my passport's photo and commented that i look like William Hung when young... hmmm... was that an insult? Ooops... i know they are joking... Just that this incident gave me a new nick name... 'Young William Hung'... and another 'Model', specially thanks to Mun...

IPPT didn't went as smoothly as planned... i was expecting to pass all my static station before i went ahead and tried for my best 2.4km timing... In the end... i failed Chin Up & almost SBJ... making me unsure whether to run... Its not till the last minute, i decided to try my limit... After Tee Rong & Teck Hui's encouragement... result? below 10.30min... my best timing to date... even though i never run my best timing before...

Disappointed i maybe, i am happy that my shuttle run improved as well... almost hit gold grade... Now i need to work on my Chin Up & SBJ extra hard... for a silver or even a pass...

Events after events shaken my mind... making me lesser esteem... lesser confidence... even when being sabotage by the rest to go out with Terence for one 'game', i felt a little uneasy to be there... in front of the rest... Still talking about dreams? haha... dreams can only be dreams...

Future: Unknown

Four big boys... or young men, might sound more appropriate... met up... drove around... in search of a place to chill... After searching from Mohd. Sultan... We went to TCC @Parklane & Riverside of Singapore River...

Sitting around under the dark sky at wee hours... we chat about everything under the sky... American Idol... Friends in the past... Our daily lives... and our.... FUTURE... We were thinking about life after Army...

Study? Hao, Wen and i wanted to... but... its rather hard... with the facts that our results wasn't that good... Study overseas need money & i am not that willing to adapt another country's lifestyle... For them... for me, everything is still a question mark...

But for Ris... he decided that he might make Civil Defence as his profession... Not signing on... but joining it as a profession... A wise idea for him who is not that into studying... But still deciding if he is to take it up...

Due to national service, our lives had been put on hold... in these two years... we stopped at a point where we are not really progressing... maybe we did physically or mentally... but its just a checkpoint in our life... nothing to hold on or can we survive just by serving the nation...

i am still waiting for the letter from the university... hoping that... i do have a chance to be in the University...

Unit Life

I shall not say exactly the same... but we are slowly experiencing unit life... the so called 'lao jiao' (old bird's) life... We still involved in NDP by 'fully committed in the logistic'... in another words... 'sai gang' (shit job)... haha... Everything was just place nicely into words that sound so great...

No nights out yet... but we do get canteen breaks and now TV was bought in our bunk... We are now relaxing more... I guess we should count ourselves lucky comparing to 30SCE... Their bunk's conditions are much worse... get to know that during my guard duties which also falls in the previous week...

First time doing it at Jurong Camp... and was the second batch to use the scanning system... A troublesome system that took us alot of time just to find the various checkpoints... Thankfully, my partner know the area pretty well... so we get around the camp smoothly... only problems was that we couldn't find 3 checkpoints... which none of other details could find... we are the only detail to get all correctly... apart from the three...

All the scanning thingy could be found on lamp post up the hill, near the fences etc... some thought that they are doing SOC... haha... and the route wasn't the best you wished for... luckily our eyes had adapted the darkness... the whole route was rather spooky especially without the street lamp working... the feeling wasn't that nice... we just keep walking, scanning to get the job done... haha...

Surprisingly, i didn't feel that bad... nor that tiring... just some aching after carrying rifle... haha... compared to SI... this was more fun... oOops... haha...
