Jian Hua, my Ukelele instructor

My Ukelele instructor appeared on Singapore's national television channel, Mediacorp's OKTO.

Not a supporter of OKTO since I have passed that age, I saw the post on Replugged Music's FB page!

He performed the song "Over The Rainbow" which was also taught in class. I thought the version is closer to Matthew Morrison's album version. Anyway, it is nice to see your instructor on TV, right?

I wasn't a hardworking student of his but he is patient and clear in class. Hence, I do enjoy my lesson there. By the way, I finally can sing and play to the simple tune of "Last Christmas"! Super happy even if I am not perfect yet.

The homework from this lesson is the chorus of "Right Here Waiting", with a new style that was taught today. Hope I don't get rusty over the Lunar New Year~! =D

Making My Debut

I had experience in singing in a choir with my sec sch choir members in speech days... i had experience performing a musical instruments during my pri school... i had experience in singing as a choir in a joint school event! (and receive praises from my PRINCIPAL, Mrs Song!)... i had numerous experience in singing LIVE in KTV room =x but i had never performed a song in a duet right in front of a reasonable crowd PUBLICLY.

I was at Simei Care Center performing together with a group of singing enthusiasts from Replugged Music. We enjoyed ourselves despite some hiccups. Those were the minor ones and its great to see some stand/sit and listen to us... singing along with us... The feeling is simply undescribable! haha. Anyhow, that marks my debut... first time singing with Kelly. Feel comfortable singing with her. And great to know the rest like Kokseng, Wayne, Donald, Darryl, Vivian, Angeline, Meixian, Kristen, Fion and of coz, Kelly =)

This marks the end of my May events... Finally can take a rest for singing and concentrating on my fitness (IPT) and overseas trip (Muar & KL) before ending with a family event (Chalet!).
