nyp... sleague... afpd

Went back NYP for the first time since my driving TP... and into the auditorium for the first time since 2004... The Chinese Orchestra, indeed, surprise me with their performance. Led by a highly popular conductor, you never know you are watching a Orchestra concert if you never open your eyes. The atmosphere is almost like watching a pop star concert... Trust me, i never exaggerate... But they were let down once again by the male vocalist. He simply sound awful. They salvaged the whole night with surprises, especially the last few songs... Nice...

I also went to National Stadium, to watch my first international soccer match. Singapore against Vietnam. To me, Singapore is hardly impressive. Totally disappointing. Its not the scoreline... more the way they performed... Credits to Vietnam fans, they create a soccer atmosphere throughout the match... Singapore fans? As usual, keeping cool... i feel S-League has more die-hard fans... haha... Should have go for the last night match instead... Singapore owned LAOS 11-0... this was the largest scoreline in international history for a very long time... Singapore largest win also... But they need to repeat their performance in order to show the scoreline is not luck...

Today, i was being confirmed as an AFPD staff... Received a pretty good appraisal, my superiors are happy with my performance but need more improvement in many areas. Punctuality is being highlighted, but no worries... i had improved it since then, just that its not yet reflected... I'm sure they will see my improvement... So happy today... hehe...
