It been more than a year since i last step onto the causeway. No, i am not talking about Causeway Point, but the actual causeway that link Singapore with Malaysia. This time round, i get to cross the bridge to the new custom of Malaysia. First Impression? Not impressive at all. The road was so jammed that we could take a nap on the bus... We spent almost an hour sitting on the bus. That is freaking long.
The new custom is cleaner, air-conditioned... more stations but same speed. We still have to slowly wait for our turn, but at least its more cooling. Took a photo at the exit of the custom, but was stopped by security to delete away. To be honest, the photo only consist of me, Dz and the background of mini waterfall. Nothing about the custom. Hmm... strict? Maybe.
We are simply hungry after the long wait. After changing our S$ to Ringit, we went to a new place to have our 'brunch', Mr Baoz. It is situated level 3 of JB City Square.
We ordered six different flavours of Baos, including Curry Chicken flavour. But when we received our orders, i think it was not what we ordered, anyway, we were too hungry to remember what is our order. Hence, we began eating... The menu was really attractive to me... The variety was special.. Imagine Baos having so many kind of fillings and toppings... it looks more like Donuts but taste smooth... Can't wait to visit them a second time. Other than Baoz, Dz had local white coffee, i had a Peppermint Chocolaz, while Ermei had Strawberry Green Tea. I simply love my drinks~!
We moved off to the first destination... Danga City Mall. Ermei recommend that place as it is rather new and give us an impression of a great place to shop. To be honest, it wasn't. I don't blame Ermei as who will not get that impression if they just judge the place with their website... Most of the tenants are the property managment's own shop. Most of the shops have no one taking care of the shops, some did not even had any renovations. No crowd in the mall. At least, the transport from Custom to the mall is FREE. Dz and i did get ourselves a top each (Buy 1 get 1 free) to make the trip not totally fruitless.
After leaving Danga Mall, we head to Taman Sentosa to shop, sing & eat... I got myself some socks and briefs... *shy* at The Store... Taman Sentosa's KTV is cheap... we spent around RM25 for 3 person... singing for 3-4 hours? I lost count le... We also recorded some videos during our KTV-ing... Despite going out of tune etc, we enjoyed alot... and that is what matters most... isn't it? its been a long time since i last went there... so it do brings back some memories... walking around Taman Sentosa or JB... finding food.....
Talking about food, we 'Da Bao (take-away) some famous roasted pork/duck/char shew ate at the Famous food hawker... Thanks to Ermei, he recommended us the delicious dishes... Other than those we brought... we also ordered Beggar Chicken & Fried Oyster Omelette there. All taste delicious... Can't forget the strong herb taste of the chicken & duck... How can we forget the gigantic Sugercane? The meal make us BLOATED... sh*t! our tummy all came out... except for Dz...

Roasted Delicacies
After dinner, we head to Danga Bay... Its our first time there. Walked down the beach, we came to see a stretch of restaurants before the Bay Leaf Convention Center. Its pretty nice... The building looks like a GIGANTIC Bay leaf... inside, it was having Orchid & Bonsai Exhibition... Overall, it looked cool, but i do not fancy the exhibits from other Asian countries... it lack of life... i prefer Singapore's National Orchid Garden. Next to the convention center, there is a BIG stage. But it was still early then, no show was put up. We walked along another stretch of food center & shopping village. Man, it was so long... Our legs are tired after walking through it... Other than that, there are also a Pasar Malam style theme park, plant market... Its a nice experience, but definitely will not go there again due to inaccessiblity....
