Unit Life
I shall not say exactly the same... but we are slowly experiencing unit life... the so called 'lao jiao' (old bird's) life... We still involved in NDP by 'fully committed in the logistic'... in another words... 'sai gang' (shit job)... haha... Everything was just place nicely into words that sound so great...No nights out yet... but we do get canteen breaks and now TV was bought in our bunk... We are now relaxing more... I guess we should count ourselves lucky comparing to 30SCE... Their bunk's conditions are much worse... get to know that during my guard duties which also falls in the previous week...
First time doing it at Jurong Camp... and was the second batch to use the scanning system... A troublesome system that took us alot of time just to find the various checkpoints... Thankfully, my partner know the area pretty well... so we get around the camp smoothly... only problems was that we couldn't find 3 checkpoints... which none of other details could find... we are the only detail to get all correctly... apart from the three...
All the scanning thingy could be found on lamp post up the hill, near the fences etc... some thought that they are doing SOC... haha... and the route wasn't the best you wished for... luckily our eyes had adapted the darkness... the whole route was rather spooky especially without the street lamp working... the feeling wasn't that nice... we just keep walking, scanning to get the job done... haha...
Surprisingly, i didn't feel that bad... nor that tiring... just some aching after carrying rifle... haha... compared to SI... this was more fun... oOops... haha...
