Mood: Disgusted
Disgusted. Frustrated. De-moralised. Tired... I couldn't really described how i felt. Its been a real bad week for me. Many little things happened, contributing to a bad week i had. Maybe, my lack of sleep cause me to get more agitated easily.I made a small comment on facebook and yet receive an unexpected remark. I felt very frustrated. Why couldn't I comment or do what I wanted? I took a day to cool down and decided not to care about those 'extra' people which my comments don't concern about them. So I do what I like. Unfortunately, I was disappointed not to receive any comments from the person I messaged. Alright, maybe she felt the way too. Its ok, its over. Some people are just more subjective. I met enough to comment this view.
I had wanted to go for a swim on Thursday night since there were no lesson scheduled on that day. I had a bad day, plus the facebook thingy, I need some exercise to cool myself. Running was not an option for me recently, I felt tired at night since I usually run during late night. Thus, going for a swim may be a better options since i had not swim for a long time.
I was shocked but happy to see that the pool was rather quiet. Usually, swimming pool are filled with people. That night, there are some swimmers at the two ends of the pool. Only one or two are swimming their laps. I got into the pool and began to swim. After i completed 100m, i took a breath and felt absolutely disgusted. Have you ever swam in a pool of flying ants, flies or insects? I didn't, too, till that night.
Due to the weather recently, these insects will appear after rain. They tends to fly towards lamps and lights. Its not surprising that they flew towards the floodlights of the pool or stadium. Swimming pool was filled with water that reflect the lights and create an illusion to the insects that there are light source in the pool. These brainless insects begins to dive into the pool. When i saw this sight, i absolutely disgusted and disappointed with Singapore Sports Council. They should have close the pool completely instead. I tried to endure the 'fear' and swam another 150m before i gave up.
i never swam so fast before and also lifted myself so high to catch a breath (and not the insects). I will never go for night swimming again. Day swimming? depends.
