Uniquely Singapore

I did not expect to kickstart my plans to explore Singapore so early. Early this month, an idea struck my mind. I wanted to explore those free for all places of interest in Singapore. Carrying my camera, I want to capture all the beautiful scenery that still existing for free. This idea became stronger after hearing my mum say Sentosa do not allow them to take photos while my cousins took those paid rides etc. It make me angry. Why the rest of the world allow photos to be taken at their places of interest and amusement park, but Sentosa denies? If any non-Singaporean see this post, i strongly NOT recommending Sentosa to you guys. Its way too expensive and nothing attractive.

I am sure there are lots of places I had not went to. I had thought about going to heartlands to take photos, following the MRT track. From north to south, east to west. Other than heartland, how can i miss out Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden and the newly built Marina Barrage.

I also have not taken time to visit the two latest Shopping center in Singapore - Iluma Shopping Centre & Tampines One. It will not only be a shopping trip but also a sight-seeing trip. I will take the chance to explore the design of the buildings. Do you know that National Library (in Bugis) is the Most intellegent Building in Singapore? You will be amazed if you find out all the technology in-built into that building.

Look! I was so carried away in talking about my upcoming plans and forgot to say about last night's activity. The place i went last night was... Tanglin Village~! (click here) I didn't know there was such a place in Singapore. Thanks Bros...

I was kept in suspense until i reached the place. I was told that we were going to a 'haunted' place to chill out. It sure look like one when we reached there. No street light, quiet road, lots of grasses make it look worse... Once we reached the Dempsey Hill (Cluster). I got to see one of the crowded nightlife in Singapore. Many restaurants, bar, cafe... are situated on the hill. Man, it was really crowded. We finally settled down at Dome

After chilling, we walk around the hills to explore a little. Tanglin Village was divided into three clusters but only Dempsey Cluster are crowded with food and chill-outs. There are antique stores as well. For example, Shang Dynasty antiques or even 'Bing Ma Yong' (those grey warrior statue). It is scary to see these statues at such a dark place. We walked pass there pretty fast. haha. I am sure we will be there again to chill. I do recommend you guys to drive if you want to get there, unless you want to take a cab there.

I have to wait for Brother Hao & Wen to send me photos before i could upload here. Looking forward to go Botanic Garden and Fort Canning with bros again...
